Our Projects
We are deeply committed to serving God through a multi-faceted ministry that combines worship, discipleship, and outreach. As a family, we feel called to return to Brazil, where we will engage in several key mission projects.
Nossa Agência Missionaria
This is the missionary agency for the Mennonite Brethren in Brazil, established to support our churches in missions both nationally and globally. All the missionary projects around three key pillars:
Making disciples and supporting their spiritual growth.
Developing local leadership and organizing them into communities of faith.
Connecting projects with like-minded individuals and initiatives to build and strengthen a robust international mission network.
Thomas has a significant opportunity to collaborate with Emerson Cardoso, the president of Nossa, in various roles and projects, including serving communities in the Amazon.
Discipleship
Our heart is to serve the church by coming alongside leaders and congregations, helping them grow in spiritual maturity and build Gospel-centered communities. We believe that healthy churches are rooted in the truth of Scripture, with the Gospel at the core of their teaching, worship, and mission. By providing sound biblical and theological training, we aim to equip leaders to shepherd their people faithfully and empower congregations to live out their faith in unity and love. Our desire is to see churches flourish, grounded in the transformative power of the Gospel, as they reach their communities with the hope and truth of Christ.
ESL Outreach
We aim to teach English as a means to reach people, share the Gospel, and bring them to faith in Christ. We plan to offer free or low-cost English lessons to the community, creating a hub for English classes that includes cooking and sharing meals together. Through these classes, we want to invite students and their families to our home for Bible study and meals, fostering genuine relationships and helping them grow in their faith. We also want to participate in and serve a local church.
Worship
Music is a significant part of our lives, and we believe God can use us to serve churches as guest musicians. We hope that through music, the Lord will open doors for biblical reformation, leadership training, and reaching more people with the Gospel.
Missão Reconstruir
Missao Reconstruir is a Christian rehab facility with the mission of "saving lives from the slavery of drugs, with a complete change of character and recovery of social, moral, and ethical principles through psychology, psychiatry, and the study of the Word of God." Active for over eight years, the facility is located on a hobby farm owned by my family, rent-free. We desire to visit once or twice a month to help with Bible teaching, worship leading, and offering English and music lessons. Additionally, we aim to provide financial support to ensure their needs are met, including food, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and other essentials.
